15 years Riding! 20 Years Surviving!!

On June 22, 2002, we were celebrating our 25th anniversary. That Monday morning, June 24th, 2002 I had an ultrasound scheduled at the Toronto General Hospital at 7:00 AM.

That is when we discovered the many nodes in my abdomen, and it started a whirlwind of Cancer treatments for the next 20 years. I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.

I would not be here today if it were not for the Princess Margaret Hospital. From the moment you walk through those doors, all the Doctors, the Nurses (especially the Nurses in the Chemo Day Unit), the Technicians, the Staff, the Volunteers, EVERYONE at PMH treat you and take care of you as if you were one of their family.

THANK GOD we have a world-class facility like PMH in our own backyard!!

This will be my 15th YEAR doing The Ride To Conquer Cancer!

Over 14 years we collectively raised $230 million. The money raised goes directly to creating a meaningful difference in the lives of cancer patients. 200+ types of cancer are treated including some of the rarest forms

These funds give scientists and research clinicians the opportunity to better understand the individual nature of each cancer and each patient, leading to more effective, targeted, and less toxic patient treatments.

People like you make The Ride Canada’s largest cycling fundraiser a huge success and BRING US ONE STEP CLOSER TO FINDING A CURE FOR CANCER!

AND WE CAN NOT STOP! WE DESPERATELY NEED YOUR HELP! PMH NEEDS YOUR HELP! CANCER PATIENTS NEED YOUR HELP!

Please donate to the ride!

I thank you in advance for your generosity!!

All my Best,

Barry
