The Ride to Conquer Cancer has become a focal point in my life and continues to be something I look forward to every year. This June will be my 6th year participating in the ride. Each year the ride becomes a more emotional experience!
Having been through 3 treatments of chemotherapy over the past 10 years I am compelled to ride. It is a way for me to give back.
How can I not help thousands of people who are suffering with Cancer? How can I not give back to PMH who literally saved my life 3 times over the last 10 plus years?
Princess Margaret Hospital is doing amazing research and have and are accomplishing so much that each year they are bringing us one step closer to finding a cure!
The fight against Cancer CANNOT and MUST not stop. This is a battle of epic proportions. Researchers, scientists and doctors have made great strides in the fight against Cancer but there is still a long way to go. This battle has to be fought with a collective effort. Researchers, scientists and doctors can only accomplish so much if we do not support them.
